Abstracts shall be written in English, MS Word format, typed with Times New Roman (12 pt), single space and must include a summary (max. 250 words) followed by short sections addressing:
1. The purpose of the work and approach
2. The scientific innovation and relevance
3. The (preliminary) results and conclusions

Authors also need to provide:
1. Sub Topic (1 to 18)
2. Title
3. Full name, affiliation, and e-mail of main author for all correspondence
4. For all other authors, full name and affiliation

Each abstract will be reviewed by at least three independent experts from the international scientific committees.

Accepted papers will be presented orally in either plenary, oral and poster sessions. Authors will be notified on 2 January 2019.

Format Abstract

The Scientific Committees and editors will review all abstracts that have been submitted on time and in the correct format. Paper Reviewers can recommend abstracts for plenary, oral or visual presentation or otherwise reject abstracts which do not possess the quality required for presentation or are not relevant to the topics of the conference.
Abstracts are reviewed on a scale of 1 to 5: 1 being very poor and 5 being excellent.
The three selection criteria are:
1. Content
– in line with the selected subtopic
– relevance for other groups active in green agroindustry and bioeconomy
– clearly understandable and direct to the point
2. Innovation
Advancement in terms of progress and novelty
3. Quality
Scientific quality as well as the probability of a good presentation at the conference

The plenary and the oral presentations are reserved for contributions covering a wider scope which are of interest to a broader audience and address the progress and novelties within the topic. The reviewed abstracts, together with the recommendations of reviewers and any additional comments are made available to the Topic Organisers. The TO’s will prepare session proposals, identifying the abstracts they wish to include in their session.

The final decision regarding each abstract will be discussed in a meeting of Topic Organisers in January 2019.

The committee is going to establish an agreement with IOP publishing to publish selected papers in IOP Conference Series. The proceeding series has been indexed by Scopus, Elsevier. Prospective authors are invited to submit their full paper using IOP Conference Series template. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by experts, and the final decision of the selected papers will be made by the editorial team.
